Application Form

Information for Oral presentations:

The following equipment will be present in each session room:

·        Multimedia Projector

·        Laptop or PC with Floppy Drive, DVD/CD-Rom and USB-port

·        Codoscope

·        Laser Pointer

·        Microsoft Office 2003, Flash Player, etc.

 We strongly recommend to bring you presentations on CD or USB-Flash Memory Drive and please make a back-up. Make sure to use common fonts.

 The session time allocated to you in Oral presentation is 7 minutes, followed by 3 minutes for discussions.

Information for Poster presentations:

Preparation of Poster Posters should meet the following criteria:

1.      Size Posters should be 120 cm x 70 cm.

2.      The poster should be easily readable at a distance of two meters. Avoid using mixtures of type/font styles.

3.      At the top of the poster include the title of the presentation, the name of the authors and the institution where the work was completed.

4.      Upper Case Headings such as “Introduction”, ”Methods”, ”Results”, ”Discussions” and ”Conclusions” are useful (48 point - 60 point maximum is suggested).

5.      The Content should be brief throughout, simple and concise; single spaced

The session time allocated to you is 7 minutes for presentation followed by 3 minutes for discussion. Please ensure that you keep to your allotted time frame.

The presenters of posters are kindly requested to stay with their posters during the discussion period.

The posters will be arranged in the separate congress room.

The poster will have an identification number which will correspond to the number of the presentation panel. Make sure that your poster is placed on the corresponding poster panel. The poster will be exhibited during the whole congress duration.

The poster message must be understandable without additional explanation. The poster representative must be able to answer additional questions which will cover all the aspects of the presentation.

The poster representative is asked to stand over the poster during poster sessions.

Indifferently from your choice (poster or oral presentation) it is necessary to send the abstract in order to publish it in the Congress Materials. 

 

Abstract must include:

  • A brief statement of the objective (preferably one sentence).
  • A brief statement of the methods.
  • A summary of the results, presented in sufficient details to support your conclusions that will be presented at the end of the abstract. The results of the study must be included in the abstract. It is unsatisfactory to state that the results will be presented or discussed - these abstracts may be subject to rejection.
  • A summary of the conclusions and discussions (if this exists).
  • It is the responsibility of the author to ensure accuracy of content, spelling and presentation, as abstracts will be published exactly as submitted.

Formatting instructions:

  • The abstract text should not exceed 3000 characters and have no less then 1500, otherwise there will be rejections.
  • Only standard abbreviations may be used in the text and they must be defined by being placed in brackets, just after the first use of word or expressions.
  • Title should be typed in title case.
  • Please do not use special symbols like: ã, î, â, s, t, ä, æ, ç, è, ü and other simmilar!

Note: Compliance to the specifications is imperative - any abstract that does not comply with these specifications may not be accepted for review.


Active participation * Passive participation *

Due to the selection of the abstracts, the congress will represent a wonderful meeting of bright young spirits and outstanding research in an academic setting! We wish you good luck!

* The status of active participant is attributed only to the author of the work

As a passive participant you will have the opportunity to meet foreign students and take part in our congress program. You can visit any session or lecture you like. It is also possible to take part in our social program or other special events. Afterwards you'll receive a certificate of participation.

* Passive participants - students, residents, postgraduates, young doctors (till 35 years) that don't have papers registered in the congress sessions either are co-authors to any paper.
